Lois Sedgwick - Look What You’ve Done
Falling hard enough to feel like a stranger to yourself — Lois Sedgwick's new one wraps that in disco shimmer
Too much of a good thing? In her new song, the Sheffield-based singer-songwriter Lois Sedgwick does not understand how she can be in love so much. There is a delightful moment at the start when some modern voice processing is followed by nostalgic disco production. But it's Lois' gleeful vocals that make the song such a joyful listen.
She says:
“What you've done” is my second track of the EP, and it's about falling for someone and feeling like you are going insane and being absolutely infatuated with a person to the point of feeling like a different person. The chorus repeats “look what you've done” as if there is a sort of resentment towards this person for making you feel this way.
“Look What You’ve Done,” is on Lois Sedgwick’s new EP Still I Dance, out now. Listen to our Song Pick of the Day on Apple Music, Spotify, or YouTube below. We send one carefully chosen song like this every day - subscribe here.
