RUDEY, the highly gifted and innovative Nashville-based songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, follows his sensational "Ease My Mind" up with the not less intriguing "U." This time we see more of Noah Nockels aka RUDEY doing his magic in his new live video, which instantly put me under its spell. It made me want to feature the track, and here we are! RUDEY says about "U:"

“This song took quite a journey to complete, with constant reimagining and efforts to achieve cohesion. ‘U’ represents self-reflection and bravery. After taking some much-needed time away from everything, I was finally able to gain a broader perspective and see myself from a bird’s-eye view. That’s when ‘U’ came to life. Initially, it was fast and exhilarating, but I had to step away for nearly a year to understand how to finish it. The second verse of ‘U’ may sound like another person's voice, but it’s actually me playing a different character in my own story. At the time of the initial recording, I couldn’t fully embody this perspective, but a year later, I gained the insight needed to complete it.”
