The Brighton duo of Lily and Jack Wolter, aka Penelope Isles, are back with a new song and an album announcement. Since then, they not only released solo work, like Lily’s “KookieCannibal,” but they also spent some time surfing, and that laid-back spirit seems to carry over into their new single “Thinking Seat,” inspired by the countless hours spent touring. Touring means a lot of driving, and driving leaves plenty of time to think, hence the thinking seat that lets your thoughts float in many directions. Add the summery melodies, and you feel like you sit with them in the passenger seat while the lush English landscape rolls by on the way to the next gig.
