Odd Beholder, the project of Swiss musician Daniela Weinmann, released her fourth album, Honest Work, two weeks ago, and I cannot stop listening to this elegant piece of creative synth pop. The songs draw you in immediately with catchy beats and melodies, and the lyrics pack a punch that keeps lingering in your mind. Take our Song Pick of the Day, “Ring Light,” for example, a song about the deep frustration that comes with social media success. “How did I turn my five minutes of fame / Into this lonely and excruciating game?” Daniela sums up our disillusionment with social media perfectly.
