The LA musician and Berklee student Kiara Skyler offers an antidote to fears that may hold you back. Drawing on the Filipino folklore of the mangkukulam, a practitioner of witchcraft, Kiara liberates herself from dark thoughts. It is a quiet, moving reflection, recorded with acoustic instruments and fellow musicians.
Kiara explains:
I wanted to honor a story from my heritage, but also write about how we can't let fears manifest into something greater, and must be strong to keep moving forward.
