I Want Poetry - Supersize World

There is no lack of gloom and doom, but the Dresden duo I Want Poetry goes the opposite way on their third album, Future Selves. Singer-songwriter Tine von Bergen and keyboardist/composer Moritz Moll envision a brighter future and remind us that we can shape it ourselves.

At the New Colossus Festival in March, we could see how naturally they bring that vision to the stage with a synth-pop show that nods to the 80s without mockery.

The band says about the single “Supersize World”:

Supersize World is our ode to minimalism and focusing on the things we really need. In a world that seems to grow louder, faster and more overwhelming everyday, we often find that it's the quiet and the simple things that really count: Friendship and genuine human connection. A moment for yourself. Air to breathe. And sometimes, all it takes is a fun song to dance
