Gelli Haha - Spit [Video]

The LA musician Gelli Haha goes all out on fun house visuals in bright colors and upbeat pop tunes. Her goal is "pure creative chaos that exists somewhere between Studio 54 and Area 51." So, why not create a song with lyrics consisting only of words starting with the letter "S"?

But it is not irony that she is after. Angel Abaya, the artist behind Gelli Haha, and producer Sean Guerin are serious about electronic music, utilizing a diverse array of vintage gear to craft the Gelli Haha sound. Consequently, the latest single of the upcoming album Switcheroo is not a fluffy pop song, but a hard-hitting, bubbling analog synth track.
