“I wrote this with Iain Berryman - nicest man, legend + total prod wizard. It’s about coming off my meds and swinging between being a total anxious people pleaser and then also a bit of a twat, and trapping myself in the same cycle over and over. It’s maddening watching the same patterns play out, but there’s something almost empowering about leaning into that darkness. I love a good cry and shame spiral, so this song makes me wanna thrash around or take up jogging or howl at the moon or something when I hear it.”
