Other people drop in and drop out of our lives, and often the stories about them we tell ourselves are painful. In "Learning to Miss You," Toronto musician Grace Turner, who records as City Builders, turns that experience into a gripping, cinematic song that echoes in your head long after it finishes.

Grace says about the song:

I wrote this song after running into my ex-best friend at a show. Despite everything that went wrong, I suddenly missed him again. Later, when I recorded the vocals, my partner broke up with me right after the session. Those vocals, captured in the rawest moment, are the ones you hear on the track.
