Blumi, aka French-British musician Emma Broughton, makes a case against retreating too far into solitude: you are missing too much while running from human connection like a wild animal. Driven by furious drums and a heavy bass line, the song unfolds like a thought gaining strength in someone’s mind until it arrives at a final realization: life is not dangerous.

Emma says:

I used to think, with great drama and hand-on-forehead-flapping, that what I needed the most was solitude. If only everyone would leave me be - leave me tranquil, as we say in French.
