Freya Talbot's cool, detached vocals rarely betray emotion, while Katie Hare's wonderfully prominent bass anchors the song throughout. Lily Findlay and Sarah Dunn's guitars, together with Karolina Skinderskyte's drums, build layer upon layer of brooding intensity. Rather than relying on constant aggression, Tanzana let atmosphere do the heavy lifting, making "Without A Sound" all the more compelling.
