Bold, immersive, and quietly addictive — Sassy 009’s “Someone” draws you in and keeps revealing new edges.
The style mix and the bold production of “Someone” caught my attention immediately. I was intrigued — but also unsure whether I wanted to feature the latest single by Norwegian artist Sassy 009 right away. That hesitation didn’t last long. By the time the song finished, I knew this was one I’d return to again and again, and it made me genuinely excited for her debut album Dreamer+, out January 16 via [PIAS] Électronique / HEAVEN-SENT.
Over the years, Sassy 009 has steadily shaped her own space — moving from early electronic releases into a more expansive, song-driven sound that blends live instruments, pop instincts, and a strong sense of atmosphere. Dreamer+ feels like the natural culmination of that evolution: a focused, self-assured debut built over several years, and very much on her own terms. The album also features collaborations with Blood Orange, yunè pinku, and BEA1991.
