Pip Blom - Ring

"Ring," the new single by Pip Blom, brings back some beautiful 90s party and dance memories, yet the song is as edgy and modern as it gets. With "Ring," the band also announces their new EP titled Grit, scheduled for June 6. Formed and based in Amsterdam, Pip Blom evolved from Pip Blom's (vocals, synth, guitars) solo project to a full-fledged band, with Tender Blom (vocals, guitars, synths) and Darek Mercks (bass, synths).

Lyrically, the EP draws from very personal experiences made relatable. Pip says:

“I’ve had a pretty rough year with lots of difficult events in my private life happening. And throughout this period I started to notice how much I craved to find some sort of grip. It's difficult to have this overpowering sense of searching for something to hold on to, as unfortunately, as we all know, you can’t really get that. Life is very unpredictable.”
