Nicklas Sahl - Trampoline

"Trampoline" is the new song and video by Nicklas Sahl, and it is absolutely marvelous! Light, bright, playful, yet with profound lyrics and beautiful vocal delivery. Asked about "Trampoline," the Danish singer/songwriter says:

“I’m a real people pleaser – I all too often put others’ needs ahead of my own and am hyper-aware of whether the people around me are okay. At its core, that’s of course quite sympathetic – a sort of social, human superpower – but I also know that my obsession with pleasing others often leads me to become the person I think others want me to be, instead of just being myself.”

But there's more to the super gorgeous, guitar-driven track, and Nicklas explains further:

“It’s a finely tuned and hyper-perfectionist world we live in. In the rush, it’s easy to lose yourself. I think that’s why I’ve felt the need to seek out the opposite – to slow down and spend time trying to understand my human flaws in a more nuanced way, not just beating myself up over the mistakes I make, but instead seeing the strengths that often lie hidden within them.”
