Lukka - Fabric of the Cosmos

Dreamy and hypnotic, Lukka’s “Fabric of the Cosmos” drifts between syncopated rhythms and metaphysical wonder.

Lukka’s “Fabric of the Cosmos” moves with a quiet kind of gravity. Syncopated drums give the song its dreamy pulse, while soft vocals sit deep in the mix, drifting through layers of shimmering guitars and synths. The New York–based trio — Franzi Szymkowiak (vocals, guitar, synth), Ashley Gonzalez (bass), and Simon “SiFi” Fishburn (drums, synth) — builds the track around hypnotic grooves and expansive textures, creating a sound that feels both grounded and cosmic at once.

Franzi says about the song:

“It’s about trying to see beyond the three-dimensional world and being only able to do that through e-motion (electric motion/vibrations,), dreams or day visions. The song slips into the metaphysical world.”

“Fabric of the Cosmos” appears on Lukka’s upcoming album Wendekind, out June 5. The record traces themes of loss, memory, and self-discovery while reflecting on the artist’s own roots and sense of place.

Franzi explains:

“Over the past three years, a series of events pushed me to look inward and question what had been driving my choices and behavior. The album became a deeply personal and spiritual journey, leading me back to my roots and to memories of where I came from. I was born during Germany’s turning point around the fall of the Berlin Wall. Children born in East Germany at that time were called ‘Wendekinder’ - a generation born into a new, free world. Also my mum always called me a ‘Wendekind’. It felt like the perfect title for the album.”
