Helen Ganya - Panic Button
Helen Ganya returns with a surreal new single that drifts between dream logic, tension, and unexpected calm
This song unfolds like an abstract painting. You can follow along, but the multi-layered instrumentation pulls your attention in different directions at every turn. So it comes as no surprise that the surreal, slightly apocalyptic track was inspired by a dream. Wait for the surprising outro that brings the mind to an uneasy calm after a wild ride.
“Panic Button” is the first new music by the Brighton-based musician Helen Ganya since her 2025 album Share Your Care.
Helen explains:
I dreamt I was trying to reach someone while the world was ending, but there was no way to contact them, and they were just in a different bar, dealing with it in their own way. It’s probably my closest attempt at writing a ‘blues’ song. It’s a bit hedonistic, but mainly just absurd.
