The LA-based singer-songwriter Beatrix (Arielle Kasnetz) switches perspectives in her story about the attempt to reconnect with an old flame. The acoustic production, with flute and piano, enhances the dreamlike atmosphere as the refrain “no one loves you like I did” lands like a quiet but definitive goodbye.
Beatrix explains:
