Automatic - Lazy

While the LA trio Automatic has a consistent, minimalistic music style, their songs go to many sonic places, like a time travel where you don't know if you arrived in the future or the past. Their new single "Lazy" features deadpan vocals, an 80s new wave chorus, and an Autobahn-era Kraftwerk outro. In essence, it is a love song, but with little romance.

Automatic are  Izzy Glaudini (synths, vocals), Halle Saxon (bass, vocals), and Lola Dompé (drums, vocals). "Lazy" is the third single from their upcoming album, Is It Now?, out on September 26 via Stones Throw Records.
