Alexandra Savior - Goodbye, Old Friend

The LA singer-songwriter Alexandra Savior released an album with Beneath the Lilypad that strikes a beautiful balance between nostalgia and contemporary pop. The latest single, "Goodbye, Old Friend," sets the tone: a cinematic song that sees the drivers of a breakup without bitterness.

Alexandra explains:

‘Goodbye, Old Friend’ was one of the first songs we recorded. I think it paved the way to what the rest of the record was going to sound like. It’s about the aftermath of a relationship and going over a situation and seeing the roles that I played, and the roles other people played, and letting go of it.”
