We have known Jummy Aremu, aka [**War Violet**](https://glamglare.com/artist/war-violet?ref=glamglare.com) , for a while as an enchanting, hard-working musician in New York City. So we couldn’t be happier to hear that [Kill Rock Stars](https://killrockstars.com/?ref=glamglare.com) and [Bella Union](https://www.bellaunion.com/?ref=glamglare.com) have co-signed her. Her first release, “Different Formations,” expands the range for an artist who loves guitar-heavy music: the song is an atmospheric piece around piano, strings, and flute.
