Amsterdam artist Stephanie Smit aka [**Giek\_1**](http://giek-1.com/?ref=glamglare.com) has a mesmerizing video for “Closure” from her EP [“ESCAPE”](http://giek-1.bandcamp.com/album/escape?ref=glamglare.com), collection of sprawling ethereal soundscapes.

> “ESCAPE” is about escaping reality, not wanting to face the real world because of what it might reveal about oneself.  
> Escaping from the conflict and struggle. Escaping the destruction. But perhaps this destruction is caused by all of this escapism.

# Houses of Heaven – Dissolve The Floor

California-based electronic three-piece [**Houses of Heaven**](https://www.facebook.com/housesofheaven) release a video to their dance-floor ready single “Dissolve The Floor”, out on felte records. Singer/guitarist/keyboardist **Keven Tecon** says about the track:

> “The visible economic and social disparities in San Francisco create the illusion of parallel worlds, which gives living in the city a painfully surreal quality. “Dissolve the Floor” depicts a moment in two people’s lives when the false veil of separation is lifted and their worlds suddenly become one. By combining projected and three-dimensional images, the video takes the idea of parallel existence into abstract territory inspired by classic sci-fi and horror films.”

# Joulie Fox

London-based singer/songwriter [**Joulie Fox**](https://www.facebook.com/JoulieFox/) is having it, breaks free from expectations and has fun with it as you can see in her light-hearted video “Fire In My Lungs”. She says about the song:

> I realised there will always be someone telling me how to live my life. And I found my freedom. I don’t have to please everyone because this is probably the only life I live here on earth and I wanna live it on my terms.

# Thunder Jackson

Los Angeles-based artist [**Thunder Jackson**](https://www.facebook.com/thunderjackson/) enlists MTV Music Video Award-nominated director **Dano Cerney** direct the atmospheric video for Find Yourself”. We love it! The artist about his song:

> “As humans, we all seek to define our identity. It’s a lifelong journey. Some days we feel we know exactly who we are. Others, we don’t recognise the person in the mirror. And that’s what ‘Find Yourself’ is all about. It’s a song for the lost, a song for the found, and a reminder that we are not alone in our struggles to find ourselves.”
