# NEW MUSIC: A Victim Of Society - Amnesia (Video)

From [**A Victim Of Society**](https://www.facebook.com/avictimofsociety)‘s excellent sophomore album “Freaktown” (see [album review](https://wp.glamglare.com/music/2017/04/28/new-album-a-victim-of-society-freaktown/?ref=glamglare.com)), another track got the video treatment, this time the beautifully gloomy “Amnesia”. The band video got shot in Athens’ landmark building “[Hotel Mpageion](https://www.greeking.me/blog/greek-history-culture/item/55-top-15-landmark-buildings-in-athens?ref=glamglare.com)“, where the director transformed the track into a sci-fi allegory, connecting the future with the past. The result is slightly menacing yet highly interesting to watch.

When asked about the song, the Greek psych-rockers explain:

> “Amnesia is the song where we tried to forget all the musical norms that we unintentionally follow and let the feeling of the bass-line take us anywhere it wanted. Middle-Eastern melodies mixed with a fast, punk attitude where the lyrics are sang in Greek, in order to capture the musicality of the moment, tell the story of forgetting who you are and the struggle to remember.”
