[The Hails](https://new.glamglare.com/artist/the-hails?ref=glamglare.com)' "Corruptor" gets moving immediately, propelled by bouncy, driving drums that give the song its distinctive pulse. For their upcoming album *Duckpond*, The Hails — whose members are spread between Miami, Washington, D.C., and New York — spent last summer together in a house in South Florida, writing with the intention of recapturing the in-the-moment energy of their early songs. "Corruptor" certainly has that immediacy: buoyant, melodic, and wonderfully alive.
