# Summerdrive - Shimmer

The three multi-instrumentalists **Jake Stam**, **Matt Montgomery,** and **Tim Coakley** joined forces and formed the indie-rock band [**Summerdrive**](https://glamglare.com/artist/summerdrive?ref=glamglare.com). Based in New York, the three-piece just released the ultra-beautiful “Shimmer.” The track does exactly what its positive title promises: it shimmers and makes everything around you shine a little brighter and your own mood a little happier. Asked about “Shimmer,” the trio says:

> “The overarching idea of the song is chasing a feeling that has faded, whether you like it or not. Visiting the places that you’ve been with someone, whether it be a friend or partner, and those places not holding the same meaning as they once did. Ultimately realizing that sometimes it’s out of our control how these things end up.”
