# SONG PICK: Vox Rea - Reset

After the infamously challenging last year, we are all up for a “Reset” and focus on new, inspiring things. While Vancouver trio [**Vox Rea**](https://www.voxrea.com/?ref=glamglare.com) sings literally about the exciting, carefree early stages of a new relationship, their new song can be easily interpreted as a new start into a more positive way of life. The song is upbeat and airy, and this is no coincidence, as singer Kate Kurdyak reveals:

> “Reset is a song about fresh starts and new love for the beginning of 2021\. It has a simplistic optimism that contrasts the more heavy songs on our record. It’s a song that doesn’t take itself too seriously and we had a lot of fun making it. Though we wrote it pre-pandemic, “you’re the cure I’ve been searching for” has really taken on a whole new meaning this year.”
