Milestone birthdays often invite one to reflect on one’s past and future life. With “Quarterlife” London-based singer/songwriter [**The Famous Daxx**](https://new.glamglare.com/artist/the-famous-daxx?ref=glamglare.com) refers – somewhat optimistically – to her 25th birthday. This is certainly a puzzling age, and the music reflects this with a melange of sounds from different decades. In the end, however, she comes to a simple solution:

> “Being an adult is confusing and challenging, and I am not even sure I feel like an adult most of the time. The months before my 25th birthday got me into some kind of a Quarterlife crisis – so I bought a cat.”
