“I need a 2pm guy, not a 2am high,” sings Texas-born singer/songwriter [**Karis Lee**](https://www.instagram.com/karisleemusic/?ref=glamglare.com) and indeed it is hard to run a relationship solely on adrenaline without those moments of trust and comfort. “2pm” strikes with a sparse production and Karis’ gorgeous vocals, similarly chills-inducing and intense as the early works of French duo [Ibeyi](https://www.facebook.com/Ibeyi/).

“2pm” is Karis’ solo debut single after a successful run with the duo Eleven. No new music is announced, but we very much hope to hear more from her this year:
