No fuss, no frills straight forward melodic alt-rock that’s what Newcastle five piece [Hazels](https://www.facebook.com/HazelsBand/) tend to create. From their recently released double single “The Cure”/”Can’t Ignore”, I chose the slightly darker “The Cure” as our Song Pick of the Day. The track boasts a driving beat right from the start, paired with a mesmerizing touch of suspense that makes you want to keep on listening.
