For those of us who like their indie music darker and grittier yet still sonically beautiful comes “Papa” by **[Destrends](https://www.facebook.com/destrends/)**, a three piece from Melbourne, Australia. “Papa” is the first single of their upcoming EP to be released later this year and according to singer/bassist **Matt Savage** it is about *“the time I ruined family Christmas*. *It’s also about finding your identity and learning when to shut your mouth”.* As meaningful as the lyrics, as mesmerizing are the deep and passionate vocals.
