**[Singer Mali](https://glamglare.com/artist/singer-mali?ref=glamglare.com)** is the solo project of Boston singer/songwriter and composer Mali Sastri. Her debut, “Play Pretend,” is an extraordinary track, not unlike [OTNES’ “Blu3”](https://wp.glamglare.com/music/2023/07/08/otnes-blu3/?ref=glamglare.com) last week: after a long, soothing a cappella intro, the song picks up fiery energy when strings and drums set in.
