First on stage was [**Vigil**](http://vigilofficial.com/?ref=glamglare.com). Wary of the “karaoke problem” that many electronic musicians face, he decided to ditch the laptop in favor of a vintage MPC, which he plays like a hand drum. Good choice – he achieved similar intimacy and intensity of an acoustic singer/songwriter performance. [**Spaces of Disappearance**](https://www.spacesofdisappearance.com/?ref=glamglare.com) is the project of Chicago-based musician Elaine HD, who sets cool electronics to big vocals. She treated us with songs of her latest EP [“There Is No Loss”](https://wp.glamglare.com/music/2016/10/26/listening-party-spaces-of-disappearance-there-is-no-loss-ep/?ref=glamglare.com). Closing the night was [**Loveskills**](http://loveskillsmusic.com/?ref=glamglare.com) aka **Richard Spitzer**, who performed as a three-piece band. Lead by himself on the keyboard, Loveskills brought a wonderfully sophisticated vibe to The Delancey with their jazz-infused pop music. Before and in-between the sets, DJ [alice.km](https://www.facebook.com/djalicekm/) kept the party going. She also fronts the band [**Lantrns**](https://www.facebook.com/lantrns/), who will play the glamglare showcase next Friday, March 10th 2017. **Vigil**:
