And just when I thought I'd heard "the best," aka my favorite songs of the year already, along comes [**Olivia Reid**](https://new.glamglare.com/artist/olivia-reid?ref=glamglare.com)with "Quite Simple," and empowers my music-loving heart with joy and beauty. As if singing and songwriting weren't enough yet, this New York artist also produces her music. What a talent! After reading about the song's inspiration and intention, I know I got the vibes right in the first place because the song draws from an older man's advice: "to not rush through life but slow down." When we slow down and take time to breathe and be kind to ourselves, we nourish our minds and our souls.
