[**Girl Skin**](https://glamglare.com/artist/sid-simons?ref=glamglare.com) is a Brooklyn band, led by singer/songwriter **Sid Simons** and multi-instrumentalist Bailey Blu, plus Sophie Cozine (vocals) and Alex Harwood (bass) and we were more than excited that we hosted [their second show](https://wp.glamglare.com/music/2017/04/05/photos-glamglare-presents-girl-skin-raina-bee-the-hive-the-rungs-live-at-the-delancey/?ref=glamglare.com) ever. Brimming with promise and vision, Girl Skin has already a few songs under their belt that are hard to get out of your head once you heard them and you can look forward for more of this at Northside.

**1 – Q: How would you describe your music/style in short? What can festival goers except from your show?**  
Folk with a bit of Soul. We’ve got quite a spontaneous set. We like to make up songs on stage. So we might be hearing a song for the first time as well as you.

**2 – Q: Which musical act are you most excited to see yourself at this year’s Northside Festival?**  
The Pains at Being Pure at Heart or Big Thief.

**3 – Q: This being your first time performing at the festival, what would be the coolest thing you think could happen?**  
50 million dollar contract… We’ve got high hopes for this festival.

**4 – Q: What is in store for you in the next six months?**  
few Music videos. EP release this summer. Playing shows as much as we can.

**5 – Q: What’s the question you wish we would be asking?**  
Maybe when the EP will be dropping.
