The Brooklyn-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Taja Cheek has been releasing music under the name [**L’Rain**](https://glamglare.com/artist/lrain?ref=glamglare.com) since 2017\. She blends a multitude of influences into something best called experimental pop.  
“Pet Rock” is the second single off her new album [*I Killed Your Dog*](https://glamglare.com/album/lrain-i-killed-your-dog?ref=glamglare.com), out on October 13 via Mexican Radio. It is all you expect from an all-out artist with abundant creativity, but it also works as a surprisingly catchy pop song.
