The title song of [**Little Dog Star**](https://new.glamglare.com/artist/little-dog-star?ref=glamglare.com)’s just-released EP kicks off with a high-energy piano intro that brings to mind Arcade Fire’s “Rebellion (Lies)”—or maybe, given the artist’s love for LCD Soundsystem, that’s where the real inspiration lies. The comparison ends there, though: the Manchester-born and London-based indie artist draws me in with her pleasant, expressive vocals and makes me want to listen to the entire EP with gusto.
