The real name of **[georgia, georgia](https://glamglare.com/artist/georgia-georgia?ref=glamglare.com)** is indeed Giorgia Piva, but her stage name is also inspired by a Phoebe Bridgers lyric. The debut single of the Verona, Italy-born singer/songwriter “lies” is an intriguing pop song about a delectable fantasy, as Giorgia explains:

> ’Lies’ is a song of provocation, a sort of revenge for all the times I felt misunderstood, portrayed as someone I am not.
