[**Flame Parade**](https://new.glamglare.com/artist/flame-parade?ref=glamglare.com), the fuzzy, dreamy, and beautifully blurred indie-rock quintet from Florence, Italy, return with the stirring new single “Criminal Gospel.”

We first stumbled upon Flame Parade at last year’s New Colossus Festival, where they took over the stage at Pianos and drew us completely into their spell. We could hardly look away, and our ears wanted the set to keep going. Then life moved on, as it does, and the memory slipped into the background — until now. Looking them up again and finding a new song waiting felt like a joy.

“Criminal Gospel” brings a touch of Arcade Fire energy, though gentler and more melodic in its sweep. Driving rhythm, overdriven guitars, dissonant feedback, and suspended synths lock into place before opening into a hypnotic mantra-like chorus.
