# Esme Bridie - Boys In Bands

"Boys In Bands" is about a shared experience of female musicians at live shows: being in the minority against the male members of the other bands. > “I wrote this song about my experience of turning up to gigs and being the only woman on the bill! I had a lot of fun playing around with the story -telling in the verses and the tongue in cheek chorus. It’s to be taken with a pinch of salt!”
