# Erika de Casier - Miss

On Thursday, the Portugal-born, Denmark-based singer, songwriter, and producer [**Erika de Casier**](https://glamglare.com/artist/erika-de-casier?ref=glamglare.com) surprised us with a new album, [*Lifetime*](https://glamglare.com/album/erika-de-casier-lifetime?ref=glamglare.com). After the collaboration-heavy [*Still*](https://glamglare.com/album/erika-de-casier-still?ref=glamglare.com) of last year, out on 4AD, she wrote and produced the record entirely herself and released it on her own label. This makes for an intimate and direct record – you just need to listen to the opener "Miss" and know you are in for a special treat.
