In “Steady,” the Florida-via-Texas singer-songwriter [**Bella Kay**](https://glamglare.com/artist/bella-kay?ref=glamglare.com) does the negative self-talk for you — the kind that creeps in when you feel unworthy of love. Lines like “Guess I’ll never be ready” capture that familiar fear of never quite being enough.

The restrained, guitar-driven production keeps the song intimate and grounded, turning it into an honest reflection on self-doubt rather than a plea for reassurance. Bella lays out her insecurities with striking clarity, even admitting she’s “working on it.”
