# Austra - Math Equation

On the cover of her new record (see above), Katie Stelmanis, aka [**Austra**](https://glamglare.com/artist/austra?ref=glamglare.com), looks unhappy, and the opening lines of her latest song confirm: she has not been treated well in this relationship. The math here – one and one equals three – does not work out. There is not much lament in this song, though. Inspired by Eurodisco of the 1990s, “Math Equation" is a dance banger and a turn to the more intimate sound of her last album.
