# Adult Leisure - View From Our Window

We couldn't be happier to see [**Adult Leisure**](https://new.glamglare.com/artist/adult-leisure?ref=glamglare.com) gather more and more recognition, with a headlining UK tour and a stop in Dublin this fall. Along the way, they've been busy writing new songs and following the recently released "[The Light You Attract](https://www.glamglare.com/music/adult-leisure-the-light-you-attract/)" with their brand-new single "View From Our Window."

With driving rhythms, heavy-hitting drums, and the Bristol four-piece's signature harmonies, "View From Our Window" is instantly catchy from the first listen. Beneath its wistful undercurrent runs a quiet sense of optimism, the feeling that even when things seem overwhelming, everything might just be okay.

Songwriter and lyricist David Woolford says:

> “‘View From Our Window’ is us trying to reflect on moments that left us vulnerable and scared. The verses describe a bogeyman-type figure who lives in a place that echoes our childhood nightmares. As you get older, the monsters you were once so scared of change, but really, it’s your fears that change. The line ‘great big rooms but little beds’ was our way of describing how big the world felt (and still feels), and how small and unable we sometimes feel when it comes to making a change or difference, especially within ourselves.”

David says further:

> “‘View From Our Window’ is the perception that we need to stay alone and not allow anyone in, as they may hurt us, but at the same time, being scared of our own company.”
