[Gudiya by June and the Well](http://juneandthewell.bandcamp.com/album/gudiya?ref=glamglare.com)

Let’s quickly jet over the Atlantic to Italy, to listen to *Francis* by [**June and the Well**](https://www.facebook.com/juneandthewell). Luckily, we can all stay where we are and yet enjoy this sweet and mellow rock number, our Song Pick of Monday!

There’s a lot of great music coming from Iceland. So much that we’re seriously considering going to [Iceland Airwaves Music Festival](https://www.facebook.com/icelandairwavesfestival) one day. Here’s an example: [**Vök**](https://www.facebook.com/Vokband) with *Waterfall*, our Song Pick of Tuesday.

We continue our virtual trip through Europe and stop in Riga, Latvia because *Words Like Birds* our Song Pick of Wednesday originates from there. [Carnival Youth](https://www.facebook.com/CarnivalYouth) sing most of their songs in English but some also in Latvia, which I personally find equally charming. You might want to check out their upcoming album, for now though, listen to “Words Like Birds” which faintly recalls UK’s Editors.

Song Pick of Thursday: [**Alina Baraz**](http://www.alinabaraz.com/?ref=glamglare.com) and **Galimatias** collaborated on this chilled, downtempo track *Unfold*, which invites to lounging in the sun. Not me, unfortunately, I had to go back to work.

Proof, that a band doesn’t necessarily has to live near the ocean to create a psychedelic beach-feel tune, is [**Penicillin Baby**](http://penicillinbaby.com/?ref=glamglare.com) with \[*Stick It Out*\] – our Song Pick of Friday. Who’d known that Nasvhille, TN rockers could make the beach feel so close? A ride on a bike so desirable? Waiting for the sunset, with a drink in your hand…. just listen already!

Here’s a track from the Canadian duo [Strange & Primitive](http://www.strangeandprimitive.com/?ref=glamglare.com) as our Song Pick of the Day. I like the vocals, somewhere between Dave Gahan and Matt Bellamy and that’s not a bad place to be. The album is expected for August 21st.

Here’s a Song Pick of for a lazy Sunday afternoon: [AAA+](https://www.facebook.com/aaatripleaplus) from Australia with “Soma Days”.
