[September Girls](https://www.facebook.com/septembergirls), a five-piece from Dublin, was one of my [discoveries](http://www.glamglare.com/music/2014/10/22/september-girls-live-at-cameo-for-cmj) of this year’s CMJ festival. They delivered a great performance and now they have backed it up with a new EP *Veneer*, the follup-up to their 2013 debut album *Cursing the Sea*.

September Girls feature two main vocalists, backed up by shoegazy guitar lines and multi-voice harmonies. These are songs full of energy that make appetite for a full album coming next year.
